If you want to compare Canon's trio of new PIXMA Inkjet All-In-Ones to the brothers in the Brady Bunch, think of the MX310 as middle brother Peter. At 19 pounds, the PIXMA MX310 outweighs the MX300 by 3.5 pounds and weighs 4.3 pounds less than the faster MX700. The MX310 prints and copies at 17 ppm in color and 22 ppm in black and white. In addition, it scans and faxes, and outputs a 4x6 inch photo in 46 seconds.

So what sets the MX310 apart from the MX300 besides size? The biggest biggest difference lies in the 30 sheet auto document feeder and improved scan resolution. Otherwise, the MX310 matches the MX300 feature for feature. You can print PC-free via PictBridge or print wirelessly via any PictBridge-equipped camera phone.
