Konica Minolta Bizhub 223: Big Features, Low Cost

Printer News: The Last of the Konica Minolta Bizhub 423 Series Laser Printers Delivers Plenty of Features For Less

DBZ-78-PN-500

The Konica Minolta bizhub 223 is the last monochrome, multifunction laser printer in the bizhub 423 series, but not the least. The printer shares many of the choice features of the more expensive bizhubs 423, 363, and 283: a 8.5-inch color touch-screen, two 500-sheet paper trays and the ability to print directly from a USB device. But the 223 has the lowest MSRP of the bunch while still offering speedy output up to 22 pages per minute.

Like other bizhub 423 series printers, the bizhub 223 features color and monochrome scans at speeds of up to 70 originals per minute at 300 dots-per-inch resolution, a configurable user interface to print from the desktop, and operates as the endpoint in TWAIN scanning from network computers.

The bizhub 223 offers standard security features that let you password protect print jobs and restrict access to the printer by user or computer. Although it’s the smallest printer in the bizhub 423 series, the 223 supports Konica Minolta’s PageScope Enterprise Suite to configure and manage the printer, as well as set up accounts for user access.
