Don't let the Konica Minolta's bizhub C35 color multifunctional printer's sleek, svelte good looks fool you: this baby was built for heavy lifting.

A compact 20-inch square design means the bizhub C35 can fit neatly in your work area, whether atop a standard paper tray or optional trays that hold up to 1,350 sheets of paper. But the MFP can also print dense media — up to 110-pound index paper — on both sides, and boasts printing speeds up to 31 pages per minute in black-and-white and color.

The C35 claims a fast first page out in less than 13 seconds after you press the print button. It includes a 120-gigabyte hard disk drive that stores and encrypts scanned output and overwrites expired data from spent print and copy jobs with new data from pending jobs. A secure printing function requires you to authenticate from the printer's 4.3-inch color display to access restricted output. You can also send print jobs and receive scan jobs over an encrypted communication channel.

The MFP can scan originals directly to email, local and shared file stores, and USB memory in TIFF, JPEG, XPS, as well as compact and encrypted PDF formats. Printer software enables you to put all your favorite printer settings in one window.
