The new Canon DreamLabo 5000 for beautiful photo prints

Canon recently entered the photo printing market with its brand new product, the DreamLabo 5000. It uses new fine high density print head technology to produce high quality photo prints in a relatively lesser time. Merging high precision jets with ink spray technology delivers the ink consistently with high precision resulting in high resolution print output. DreamLabo uses seven dye-based inks to provide a wider range of colors and shades. This enables extra smooth gradation in color and B&W photos, stable color reproduction and less color cast. Canon recommends using its genuine paper for printing for quick, shallow ink fixation and hence, more vivid color expression.

Seven fixed line print heads and 2400 dpi high density jets rapidly eject large quantities of ink in a single pass, giving a high print speed of up to 40 copies (10 x 15cm) per minute. DreamLabo also has inbuilt features for automatic double-sided printing and on-demand two sided document printing. Disposal of processing chemicals or direct contact with chemicals is eliminated by the ink jet process.
