Panasonic KX-MB1500 Series – the no-frills monochrome MFPs for the small office

The compact Panasonic KX-MB1500 and KX-MB1520 monochrome laser printers have been designed to deliver no-frills, efficient print, copy and scan functions for the small home office segment. The KX-MB1520 model includes the fax feature.

With print/copy resolutions of up to 600 x 600 dpi, speeds of up to 18 ppm for A4 sized paper (19 ppm for the Letter sized paper) and a 2,500 page yield toner cartridge, these MFPs produce crisp, professional laser prints.

Toner cartridge replacement and paper input is conveniently provided at the front of the MFP. The control panel is intuitive and has separate buttons for each of the basic functions. The 2-line, 16-digit LCD displays number of copies, status and alerts.

The Easy Print Utility that is bundled along with these MFPs allows you to easily merge multiple file types (MS Word, MS Excel) into a single print job or to a PDF file. It includes a real-time preview feature, tools to modify the print layout, page order, headers and footers.

This MFP supports N-in-1 printing and copying as well as the Quick ID copying feature which allows the front and back of an ID card to be copied onto a single sheet of paper. Full color scanning to PC is possible, and the scan can be directed to a viewer, file, e-mail or OCR software.

Panasonic has incorporated into the KX-MB1520 MFP the PC Fax functionality that is compatible with the 33.6 kbps Super G3 fax. You can send/receive faxes directly from/to your PC. There is no need to print the fax content. This MFP has a built-in speaker phone, a 3.5 MB fax memory and a phone book that can store up to 100 numbers. It also includes a Fax/Tel switch that allows you to toggle between Fax and Telephone.
