Konica Minolta bizhub 36/42 – the versatile monochrome laser A4 MFP that supports A3

Launched towards the end of 2011 by Konica Minolta Business Solutions (Europe), the bizhub 36 and 42 monochrome laser MFPs deliver A4 Print, Copy, Scan and Fax functionality along with A3 handling capability. These versatile MFPs are well suited for busy large teams and workgroups that deal mainly with large volume A4 sized output. The occasional A3 output can be handled by using the bypass tray.

The bizhub 36 & 42 offer many cost saving and productivity boosting features like automatic duplex high speed print/copy at 36 ppm (bizhub 36) and 42 ppm (bizhub 42), full color as well as black and white scanning at 30 sheets/minute, N-up printing and a 50-sheet automatic document feeder (ADF), to mention a few. The use of high yield toners means you get more printing done with maintenance downtimes being few and far between.

Full color as well as b/w scanning is backed by useful scan modes such as Network TWAIN scan, Scan-to-Email, Scan-to-FTP, Scan-to-SMB, Scan-to-HDD, Scan-to-USB, Scan-to-WebDAV and WSD scan. The fax function supports analog, PC-Fax and i-Fax and includes a number of useful features like time shift, group fax and fax forwarding as well as up to 2000 fax destinations.

Apart from standard Ethernet and USB 2.0 connectivity, the bizhub 36 & 42 offer connectivity for mobile devices like the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch via the freely downloadable PageScope software. To protect your organization’s data, security measures like IP filtering and port blocking, data encryption and disk overwrite have been incorporated into bizhub 36 & 42. These MFPs allow up to 1,000 user accounts, support card authentication as well as Active Directory, NTLM and LDAP authentication.
