Epson Expression Premium XP-800 Small-in-One Printer – rich features at an economical price

The Epson Expression XP-800 Small-in-One printer is small, compact and loaded with features. It offers both color and B&W print, copy and fax functions as well as B&W scanning. You get print speeds of around 12 ISO ppm (Black) and 11 ISO ppm (Color) and the output is sharp, clear and vibrant. The ink system features five individual ink cartridges containing Claria premium ink in Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Photo Black. Replacement cartridges are available in both standard and high capacity. Photos are enhanced by the XP-800’s Auto Photo Correction feature with advanced face detection and red-eye removal. You can even preview your photos before you print them.
The input tray can take up to 100 sheets of plain paper while the output tray has a 50-sheet capacity. There’s a second input tray that’s dedicated to photos and can hold up to 20 glossy photos. The 30-sheet Automatic Document Feeder gives a performance boost to the Copy, Scan and Fax functions. The versatile Copy function has a whole lot of useful features like Auto background removal, fit to page, reduction, enlargement, color restoration and more. The duplexer supports double-sided printing as well as copying.
The flatbed scanner supports B&W scanning and includes features like scan to PDF, scan to PC/USB/network and you can also scan photos and convert them to coloring book pages. The fax function can be used directly from the MFC or from a connected PC. The 3.5” LCD touch screen with gesture navigation and intuitive menus makes it really easy to use the XP-800.
Epson has provided Ethernet, Wi-Fi 802.11, Wi-Fi-Direct and USB connectivity options on the XP-800 so connecting it to your PC or network is quick and straightforward. There’s also a PictBridge port for directly connecting your camera/phone as well as support for PC-free printing/scanning by using memory cards and USB flash drives. The XP-800 supports EPSON Connect, Apple AirPrint and Google CloudPrint enabling you to print from mobile devices and the cloud.
