Xerox D95/D110/D125 Copier/Printer – Fast, Efficient Light Production Series

Xerox’s fast, efficient D95/D110/D125 Copier/Printers and D110/D125 Printers have been built to handle the production printing needs of educators, legal, insurance and healthcare providers, Service Bureaus, Data Centers and Enterprise in-plant printers. With the use of archiving and stamping software, documents can be stored electronically and their authenticity guaranteed with numerical markings. Flexible in-line finishing options like booklet making, binding, punching, folding and stacking enable quick turnaround times.

The Copier/Printer models have speeds of 95, 110 and 125 ppm and feature monochrome printing, copying and scanning capabilities. These models are also capable of scanning at 600 x 600 dpi resolution (256 grey shades) with the ability to scan to e-mail or network server. The Printer models have print speeds of 110 and 125 ppm and do not feature scanning capability.

Both the Copier/Printer and Printer models are capable of print resolutions of up to 2400 x 2400 dpi and with the use of Xerox-exclusive EA Toner, they deliver sharp half tones and solid, deep blacks. With monthly volumes ranging between 70,000–700,000 pages, simplex as well as duplex printing capability and the 250-sheet duplex Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) (only available in the Copier/Printer models), they are engineered for maximum productivity.

The Copier/Printer models come with a standard integrated Print Server that includes simple as well as advanced and automated workflows for efficiency, an intuitive user interface and productivity enhancing utilities. The Xerox FreeFlow Print Server is available with the Printer models and has full featured drivers for Windows and Mac clients. To meet data security requirements, Xerox has incorporated features like Standard Secure Print, Authentication with Kerberos/LDAP, Password Protected PDF, Hard Disk Data Encryption and more.

Canon ImageCLASS laser printers: ideal printing solution for small businesses

Canon’s ImageCLASS MF8380Cdw wireless multifunction printer was introduced to target the small office home office workgroup. This is a cost effective printer providing maximum productivity by offering print, copy, scan and fax along with easy wireless connectivity.

Over the past two weeks, we took a brief (and hopefully well-deserved) break from the daily grind of blogging, but now we're back. And we have big plans for 2008. But first a few housekeeping notes.

Over the next two weeks, we're going to cover a lot of new printers as we have quite a backlog. We're also going to make sure that every Printer News article in 2007 has functioning links to the corresponding supplies (we often cover these printers before their supplies become widely available). Once we complete this housekeeping, we'll march full speed ahead into 2008.

Reflections on Our First Year and a Very Big Thank You

In January 2007 we launched Databazaar Blog with high hopes but realistic expectations. It takes a while for a publication to take root and build an audience. The ones that succeed that is. Most don't. Because we're an online store and not a media company, you could say the odds were against us.

Fortunately, we beat the odds. We attribute our success this year to five factors:

First, not being a media company helped more than it hurt because we could focus on the content and not worry about selling ads. We're the sole sponsor of the blog.

Second, the content to advertising ratio in Databazaar Blog exceeds that of commercial publications. For example, of the five posts we typically publish every week, four contain content and only one contains advertising (plus we try our best to write entertaining ad copy).

Third, we didn't impose any restrictions on our editorial team. We let them cover the world of printers as they saw fit.

Fourth, we combined traditional publishing with blogging. Most traditional publications have a rigid format with the same columns and features in every issue. By contrast, most blogs have no structure. We have regular features (PrinTips, Printer News, Review Roundup, DoubleSided) and special features (Printer Pundits), but can also cover any topic that comes our way.
