Why You Should Consider Original HP Toner Cartridges Instead Of Refilled Ones

By Databazaar Blog

Blog 9

Printing technology has improved substantially with different brands making innovations in their manufacturing processes and developing quality tested products including the printers and cartridges. Documented communications are essential to support each and every business organization. Every business office needs a printer in order to support the different operations taking place on a day to day basis.

Reputed printer and cartridge manufacturers like HP (Hewlett Packard) caters to the need of different types of user groups. HP manufactures a wide range of printers, both for personal use and business use. HP manufactures both the Inkjet and Laserjet printers. Let us talk about the HP toner cartridges that are an important constituent of the HP laser printers.

But before we talk about HP toner cartridges, let’s make one point clear for first time users. When the toner cartridge on the printer runs out of the toner, first time users often find it confusing what to consider next: the original HP toner cartridge, the compatible cartridge, the remanufactured one or the refilled one.

  • As the name suggests, the original HP toner cartridge is manufactured by HP itself.
  • The compatible toner cartridge is manufactured by the third party manufacturers by using all the new parts and components. The third party vendors manufacture the compatible toner cartridges out of scratch by using all new components.
  • Re-manufactured ones are cartridges that are also build by third party manufacturers, but using components and parts of old cartridges.
  • And lastly in case of the refilled ones, no manufacturing happens. Instead, only the toner is filled in the old empty toner cartridges and the process is called toner cartridge refilling. Generally, users send the empty cartridges to the vendors who deal in toner filling.

Now that we are clear about the basic difference between the original toner cartridges, compatible toner cartridges, remanufactured toner cartridges and the refilled toner cartridges; it’s up to us to decide as what suits us best according to our preferences. As customers, we often get into confusing situations. There are multiple parameters to consider such as frequency of printer use, cost factors, types of printing requirements we have to encounter etc.

HP Genuine Toner Cartridges

HP is a preferred printer brand among the customers. Business professionals use the HP laser printers to handle their high quality business printing requirements. As an HP laser printer user, if you want to decide between original HP toner cartridges, the compatible ones, remanufactured ones and the refilled ones, then the following information would certainly help you in supporting your decision.

Performance Should Come First

The first parameter that comes into play is the performance. Whether we are using the printer in the business environment or in the personal settings, we all expect good performance out of our printers. A substantial part of the laser printer performance depends on the toner cartridge. If you don’t want to make any compromises in your prints, then going with the HP toner cartridges would be a reliable choice.

The strongest advantage you get by using the original toner cartridge is that you get access to the original and reliable technology, and in addition get access to the smart technical support and warranty from HP. This gives you the confidence that even if things go wrong, you can get fast and technically advanced service.

HP Toner Science

According to information published in the HP Toner Science, the toner cartridge is responsible for up to 70 % of the print quality that we get from our laser printers. By buying the HP original toner cartridge, you will not only get a perfect fit of the cartridge with the printer model, but also will get a lively texture and color combination in your prints. If you care about sustainability, then buying an HP toner cartridge would also fulfill your sustainability goal. This is because once your toner cartridge goes out of the toner, the HP recycling program takes care of it and lessens the negative effect on the environment.

Have you wondered why the prints from the HP printers always look so amazing? Yes, you are thinking right. A significant portion of the credit goes to the precisely engineered cartridges. Moreover, every component of the HP printers is subjected to rigorous inspection. The HP cartridges are manufactured using state-of-the-art equipments.

Generally, the HP toner cartridges come to the market in different types of specifications according to the printing requirements. These include the economy toner cartridges, standard toner cartridges, high yield toner cartridges, HP 2-packs and multi-packs. The economy cartridges are suitable for lower volume printing requirements such as at homes or home offices. The standard toner cartridges are ideal for medium volume printing requirements and are preferable for small and medium office environments. Higher yield toner cartridges are ideal for use in the enterprise environments. Enterprise environments require more frequent printing operations to support their business processes and so opt for the high yield toner cartridges that can keep them going.

Good prints hold a good reputation for the business. When your documents talk well, it shows your professionalism. By using the original HP toner cartridges in your laser printers, you can maintain your brand identity by showcasing the excellence in your printed documents.

HP LaserJet Pro Color Printer M451dw – A Solution For Your Wireless Printing Blues

By Databazaar Blog

HP LaserJet Pro Color Printer M451dw

With wireless networks and access points rapidly increasing everywhere, wireless network printing is fast becoming a viable option. The benefit of a wireless link versus a conventional wired Ethernet one is that you can place the printer anywhere within signal range, not just where an Ethernet or USB cable can reach. Most printers over the last couple of years have, therefore, at least this one thing in common, wireless connectivity.

If you are looking for a wireless printer for personal use or for a small workgroup in your office, you could take a look at the HP LaserJet Pro M451dw Color Printer. This HP laser printer can connect over Wi-Fi to your local wireless network and can be shared by all the computers on the network.

Points that work in favor of the HP LaserJet Pro M451dw are the quality of its output and paper handling abilities. With a print resolution of 600 dpi x 600 dpi, the M451dw offers exceptionally high-quality printing, especially for graphics and photos. Graphics output can match the best laser printers in the market producing prints that look fully professional while photo printing is just short of true photo quality. Text handling is slightly on the lower side compared to other laser printers but good enough for everyday print requirements. The printer's paper handling is also a strong point. The M451dw offers a 250-sheet input tray and a 50-sheet multipurpose tray so you can sail through large print jobs without having to stop for a refill. If you need more, you can add a second 250 sheet tray. The built-in duplexer for two-sided printing helps you to save paper resources.

The only downside of the HP LaserJet Pro M451dw is its low print speed. Rated at 21 ppm by HP, the print speed is a little low for the price and this is not your printer if you are looking for speed over print quality. On the other hand, if you need some good quality graphics, photos and text and are willing to go a little slow on speed, this printer is just the thing for you. At 15.9 x 19.1 x 12.7 inches (WxDxH), it is also compact enough to fit on your desk or small office. Setup is standard with support for both wired and Wi-Fi connections.

All major printer makers offer their own mobile apps for printing on the go. The M451dw supports HP’s ePrint app which means that you can send a file from your Smartphone from virtually anywhere to the printer as an email attachment. Receiving the email triggers the printer to print your file.

High quality output and good paper handling makes the HP LaserJet Pro 400 Color suitable for a small office or workgroup.

HP ENVY 120 e-All-in-One Printer – sleek and versatile

By Databazaar Blog

HP ENVY 120 e-All-in-One Printer

The sleek and versatile HP ENVY 120 e- All-in-One performs print, copy and scan functions almost soundlessly. The paper tray automatically opens/closes on touch— just like a DVD tray. In fact you might mistake this AIO for a largish Blu-ray or DVD player. It doesn’t have the standard appearance of a printer.

The tilt-able front panel has a 4.33” color touchscreen which lights up to display icons for the various functions when you turn on the printer. Using the touchscreen you can tap and swipe your way to access the various functions as well as HP’s library of free apps. The flatbed scanner has a convenient see through lid—you can preview your scans before you touch the scan icon. The scanner supports a resolution of up to 1200 dpi and allows you to scan directly to e-mail.

Draft print speeds are in the range of 28 ppm (black) and 23 ppm (color). Automatic duplex printing is a standard feature. The input tray can handle up to 80 sheets; more than enough for low volume printing at home or in a home office. This printer has both USB as well as Wi-Fi connectivity. Mobile printing is supported via HP ePrint, Apple AirPrint and HP wireless direct printing. While you are printing, you can even charge your iPhone from the printer’s front USB port that has been optimized for smartphones.
