Xerox D95/D110/D125 Copier/Printer – Fast, Efficient Light Production Series

Xerox’s fast, efficient D95/D110/D125 Copier/Printers and D110/D125 Printers have been built to handle the production printing needs of educators, legal, insurance and healthcare providers, Service Bureaus, Data Centers and Enterprise in-plant printers. With the use of archiving and stamping software, documents can be stored electronically and their authenticity guaranteed with numerical markings. The Copier/Printer models have speeds of 95, 110 and 125 ppm and feature monochrome printing, copying and scanning capabilities. These models are also capable of scanning at 600 x 600 dpi resolution (256 grey shades) with the ability to scan to e-mail or network server. The Printer models have print speeds of 110 and 125 ppm and do not feature scanning capability.

Both the Copier/Printer and Printer models are capable of print resolutions of up to 2400 x 2400 dpi and with the use of Xerox-exclusive EA Toner, they deliver sharp half tones and solid, deep blacks. With monthly volumes ranging between 70,000–700,000 pages, simplex as well as duplex printing capability and the 250-sheet duplex Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) (only available in the Copier/Printer models), they are engineered for maximum productivity.

The Copier/Printer models come with a standard integrated Print Server that includes simple as well as advanced and automated workflows for efficiency, an intuitive user interface and productivity enhancing utilities. The Xerox FreeFlow Print Server is available with the Printer models and has full featured drivers for Windows and Mac clients. To meet data security requirements, Xerox has incorporated features like Standard Secure Print, Authentication with Kerberos/LDAP, Password Protected PDF, Hard Disk Data Encryption and more.

Xerox Phaser 6010 Color Laser Printer Offers Big Color In A Small Package

For small businesses with a premium on space but a need for vibrant colors, Xerox offers its latest turn on a technology called “Emulsion Aggregate Toner” (EA Toner for short) in its new Phaser 6010 color laser printer. No ordinary toner, it produces 16 shades of color per pixel that Xerox claims offers crisper text and smooth color transitions. Xerox says the quality of the Phaser 6010’s 600x600 dpi prints can be as good or better than traditional 1200x1200 prints.

Perhaps of more interest to its target market, you can continue printing in black and white when the color toner runs out. The LCD panel shows you how much toner remains (the printer can also email you when it’s running low). Also, Xerox claims the printer is quiet thanks to its “Hi-Q LED print engine.” Printers, after all, should print, not shout.

A stylish cube, the printer has compact footprint for small workspaces but doesn’t skimp on speed, turning out 12 pages per minute for color prints. When connected to your network via Ethernet, you can access the printer via your Web browser for remote troubleshooting.

You won't find it puzzling to operate the Xerox ColorQube 8870. The printer's cartridge-free, solid-ink system aims to deliver affordable, high-quality color prints, without the need for special paper, at speeds up to 40 pages per minute while producing 90 percent less waste than a laser printer.

Xerox solid ink creates an image by melting solid ink into the print head that jets ink onto the print drum, which rolls it onto passing paper. In effect, there is no toner cartridge for you to recycle. The solid ink melts down like crayon into a coloring book.

Xerox Offers a Solid (Ink) Choice With the ColorQube 8570

Printer News: Xerox ColorQube 8570 Series Printers Offer Fast Color Printing and a Small Footprint

Xerox ColorQube printers aim to make high-resolution color and black printing affordable and fast for businesses of all sizes. Xerox claims its solid-ink printers generate less waste and consume less energy than toner-based laser printers. Its new ColorQube 8570 series of solid ink printers crank out up to 40 pages per minute — the first page in 5 seconds.

The base 8570/N model costs $699. The 8570/DN adds duplex printing and costs $849. The 8570/DT offers duplex printing and an additional paper tray. It costs $1,149.

The printers fuse solid inks, like crayons, onto paper, so you don't need special paper to obtain photo-quality color at 2400 dots-per-inch resolution. The printers support a wide range of media types, including plain paper, business cards, card stock, and glossy media.

Each printer has a built in 1 GHz processor and includes with 512 MB of memory, expandable to 2 GB. Xerox also provides GreenPrint software to help you print only the pages you want to reduce paper and ink waste.
